Servant Unicorns and Loving Mothers (Muddy Monday)

Happy Monday everybody! Hopefully everybody had a good time this weekend, especially considering it was St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday. Unfortunately, I was sick and wasn’t able to enjoy any green beer or join the festivities :/

What I was able to do was read up on a few things and watch some Lost. Exiting stuff, I know ;) So here are a few links and a video for you all. I’m off to Mexico later today and plan on taking pictures and maybe some video. I’ll try to make a little collage of stuff for next Monday and have a double post day. Until then, happy Muddy Monday and enjoy the rest of your week!

Fighting For Your Ideas This is a post by Jon Morrow, the Associate Editor of Copyblogger. At just a year old Jon was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which means he would in time begin to lose the ability to move and breathe on his own. His weakened state, according to the doctor, would eventually lead to his death, most likely by the age of two. This inspirational post demonstrates what a loving mother is capable of and where passion and drive can take you.

Dear Mr. Ramon This one is from a 4th grader who was so impressed and moved by a local weatherman that he wrote him a letter saying, “Some day when I become supreme ultra-lord of the universe I will not make you a slave, you will live in my 200 story castle where unicorn servants will feed you…” The best part is that letter only becomes better and more detailed! The link leads to the article I read where there is also a photo of the 4th grader’s letter :)

Just two links today but great posts to read. Of course though, I can never get enough of music and coming across new music and artists. Check out this video and song I’ve had on repeat for the past few days.
