Canada is the home of some of the most amazing tourist destinations in the world, without doubt it is a place filled with adventure and breath-taking scenery. Canada is renowned for its natural landscape that consists of mountains, lakes and hidden forests. If you’re one for exploring then this is definitely the country for you, there is so much to do, especially for first time visitors. The cities are also amazing if you want to spend a couple of days seeking a different experience to the nature and landscapes.

At the top of the list it has to be the Niagara Falls, formed by three waterfalls the Niagara falls is situated on the Niagara River, Ontario. Visiting the Niagara Falls will definitely be one of the most surreal experiences; the sights and sounds are truly magical. It is definitely recommended to see the Niagara Falls as close up as possible, you can do this by staying in a local hotel or embarking on Maid of the mist tours which let you get up close and personal. It’s worth staying in one of the hotels in Niagara Falls as many of them offer amazing views of the waterfalls from the hotel rooms, as well as fantastic dining experiences overlooking the amazing sites.
If you want to experience city life then it is highly recommended to visit the CN Tower in Toronto. This is one of the tallest towers in the world hence it being a renowned landmark that makes it a must-see site! THE CN tower offers an amazing dining experience in its 360 restaurant where you are subject to a revolving view of the city of Toronto. If you’re afraid of heights then you might not be a fan of the CN tower but there is loads for you and the family to do here, including shopping, dining and partake in some amazing attractions. Whilst you’re in Toronto you should make the most of visiting the Toronto Zoo which holds over 16,000 animals. The zoo has recently opened a giant panda experience that gets you close to the amazing wildlife! A trip to the zoo is definitely worth while and a lot of fun for all the family – you can even camp there overnight.
To check out some of the amazing landscapes that Canada has to offer, Quebec is a great place to visit. Perce rock is a fascinating site, it is a huge natural arch that appears in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It’s made of limestone and rises to 88 metres and sits 433 metres long. It is definitely one of Canada’s most captivating sites. Step back in time and take a trip to Old Quebec, here you can learn about some of the history by walking through the narrows streets and you can even ride on a horse-drawn carriage. There’s a great atmosphere here, it’s definitely worth going, if you are keen to learn then embark on a tour where you will be taken to all the hot spots in the town.
Canada is a truly inspiring place, you can explore the exhilarating hustle and bustle of the cities or hide away amid the landscapes by the mountains and lakes. It’s definitely worth planning your to-do list in advance so you can make the most out of your trip.
