Day Three | 100x100

Day Three | 100x100

Today started sluggish. I think it was the beers from movie night.

I went straight to it from bed. Social media first, BlueSky, Threads, cold conversation starts, responding to comments, emails. Before I even got to the store I'd already been working for a while. That's the invisible part of running businesses in 2026. The labor that doesn't look like labor.

Shipped two boxes of books today. Forty pounds each. There's something satisfying about that, clearing shelf space, making room. Also continued experimenting with the Distortions collab on the 3D print side while running an actual order at the same time. There are printers running around the clock. I need to tune them as they're getting super squeaky and a few are clogged. With so many printers it feels like they're always having issues, but I have to remind myself it's a volume issue. If I was just running one printer, the issues would be few.

It was book-to-movie night. So I read part of The Devil Wears Prada before we screened it at The Kress, responded to video comments and Facebook comments, bought materials for a side project I've been sitting on, and filmed a TikTok for our lamplight sale. Finished the night with more content back and forth.

I didn't hit 100 again.

And I'll be honest, I feel like I'm non-stop. More than usual. The challenge is making me realize that the issue isn't effort. It's structure. I'm treating these first ten days as a diagnostic. What am I actually capable of? Where am I leaking energy? Where can I get sharper?

The answer is coming. I can feel it.
