About the night

This is the first installment of Pablo's Late Night Movie Club, a recurring screening series built around films worth watching on a big screen with a room full of people.

We're starting with a classic. Wes Craven's 1984 original. The one that started it all.

The Kress has food and drinks available so make sure to get in ahead of time to get your concessions and seat picked.

Want to pitch in?

The movie is free for anybody. I'm selfishly paying for the theater to watch my favorite movies on the big screen. That being said, if you want to pitch in, here are some ways to do so.

• $8 — I've got you. Covers a seat. Same as a regular night at the movies.
• $15 — Help it happen. Covers a seat and chips away at the rental cost.
• $25 — Supporter. You get what we're building here. Thank you.

No pressure, no obligation. Contributing doesn't get you a reserved seat or special access this is just for the people who want to help out with costs.
